For us, the recognition is really about the direction CarExpert has been heading in over the past year, and the work underway to make the new-car buying journey simpler from start to finish.

CarExpert has always helped Australians research and understand cars through our reviews, comparisons, news and buying advice. More recently, we’ve been building out the next part of that journey too, helping customers once they’re ready to buy.

Our New Car Specialists help customers compare options, find available stock, get dealer pricing and manage the process through to purchase and delivery. The service is free for customers and supported by more than 1,200 dealers across Australia.

That’s the part we’ve been focused on: making the jump from “I think I know what car I want” to actually buying it a lot easier.

As CarExpert Founder and co-CEO Alborz Fallah said: “We built the buying service because we thought CarExpert should be able to help with both parts of that journey. Help you work out what to buy, then help you actually buy it well.”

The FDI Insider Awards assess businesses across areas including impact, community engagement, sustainability, global integration and innovation. CarExpert was named Best New Car Advisory & Buying Service – Australia 2026.

The award follows our recent People’s Choice Customer Service Innovation award at the 2026 Finder Innovation Awards, which was voted for by Australian consumers.

Two different awards, but both recognise an area we’ve been putting a lot of work into.

We’re still early in the journey, but the goal is straightforward: help Australians choose the right new car and make the buying process easier.
