CarExpert’s EOFY Sale Hub has won the People’s Choice Customer Service Innovation award at the 2026 Finder Innovation Awards.
The award recognises the Sale Hub we launched for this year’s end-of-financial-year buying period, bringing new-car offers from across the market together in one place and making it easier for Australians to find, compare and act on the deals available.
Buying a new car at the end of the financial year can be confusing. Deals are spread across manufacturer sites, structured differently and often available for a limited time. Once a buyer finds the car they want, this usually means approaching and negotiating with several dealerships themselves.
The CarExpert EOFY Sale Hub was built to simplify that process.
It brought every EOFY deal into one place, updated weekly and shown in a single consistent format across 80 brands. Buyers could compare offers side by side, see how long each one had left to run, and narrow to the makes and models they were considering. Behind every deal was CarExpert's team of New Car Specialists, who help buyers move from a deal they have found to a purchase they feel confident about, at no cost.
That combination of digital discovery and human support is what made the Hub different. Rather than leaving buyers to research, compare and negotiate on their own, we brought more of the new-car journey together in one place.
The award is particularly meaningful because the People’s Choice category is decided by public vote, with the recognition coming directly from Australian consumers.
The Hub also delivered strong results during the EOFY period. In the month following launch, the Hub drew more than half a million visitors to CarExpert.com.au and lifted organic traffic by 14%. New-car buyer leads rose 53.6% year on year across the EOFY period, while the cost of generating each lead fell 31.1% as more buyers came to the platform directly.
The Sale Hub was also featured by Channel 7 as a consumer story on its 6pm news
For CarExpert, the award is a strong endorsement of the direction we are taking: combining independent automotive content and useful digital tools with real people who can help buyers take the next step.
For buyers, the idea remains simple. Make it easier to understand the market, choose the right new car and buy with confidence.
