CarExpert New Zealand is launching later this month, and we are thrilled to have five leading car brands; Chery, Ford, GWM, MG and MINI on board as exclusive launch partners.
CarExpert New Zealand, a joint venture with Trade Me, will provide locally relevant reviews, comparisons and tools designed around how people actually research new cars today. With content published on CarExpert New Zealand, Trade Me Motors and Stuff, reach will be extended across trusted local platforms.
“The New Zealand new-car market is evolving quickly. Buyers are facing more choice, more new brands and more decisions than ever before, and that creates a real need for trusted, specialist guidance.
“These five foundation partners recognise that change and are supporting CarExpert New Zealand from launch, confident in the role that high-quality, independent new-car content plays in helping buyers make informed decisions,” said CarExpert’s CEO, Damon Rielly.
Our launch partners’ involvement reflects a shared focus on supporting the broader market ecosystem, including dealerships, by reaching buyers during the research and consideration phase, before purchase decisions are locked in.
"We know that the journey to buying a new car starts online, long before a customer gets to the showroom floor," notes Ford’s Marketing Director, Mathew Slade. "The launch of CarExpert in New Zealand is a fantastic development for the industry, empowering customers to make informed choices. When Kiwis feel confident in their research, it drives better outcomes for buyers and ensures the ongoing success of our dedicated Ford Dealers nationwide."
The foundation partner program runs through to 30 June 2026, after which advertising opportunities will open to additional brands from 1 July 2026.
