CarExpert has appointed Tania Hillman as Chief Financial Officer, joining the business as CarExpert continues its rapid growth and expansion.

Tania joined CarExpert following several years at Go1, where she helped lead the finance function through a major scale-up period as the business expanded internationally, completed acquisitions and grew into one of Australia’s most successful technology companies.

Her appointment comes at a significant stage in CarExpert’s growth as the business continues investing in technology, audience growth, marketplace capability and its long-term customer strategy.

Tania said she was excited by both the scale of the opportunity and the direction the business was heading.

“I’m excited to be joining CarExpert at such an important stage of its growth,” she said.

“What stood out to me was how differentiated the business already feels within the automotive space. There’s a real focus on building something customer-first, backed by strong technology, trusted content, and a team that genuinely wants to improve the way Australians buy cars.”

Before joining Go1, Tania held senior finance and banking roles across organisations including RACQ Bank, QT Mutual Bank, Firstmac and John Wiley & Sons.
